Dad pt 2 Gian It was early morning when my mobile was buzzing and the loud music rang in my ears. What, the f**k?! I wished over and grabbed my mobile, half asleep. I looked towards the window. It was dark out, who the hell was calling? It had got to be six-thirty in the morning. I'd only had three hours of sleep. I groaned internally. Serena, Jay and I had been binging all night watching as many movies and eating as much popcorn as we could to keep our minds if the events that happened prior. I slid the flashing receiver up. "Hello," I said groggily, though it sounded like a question. Well good morning to you too, son." "Dad?" He chuckled. "You really should look at your caller ID, Gian." "What's the point? I have like five contacts in it. So there is always a one in five chance it could be you." He chuckled. "What can I do for you dad its.." "Half five." "Urgh." He chucked. Then he got all serious. "Do you know where your sister is Gian?" I swallowed. "No. Haven't seen her, sorry dad." He sighed. "She didn't come home last night." "Have you tried calling her?" "Torino is having a panic attack. I don't know what to do. She has never been away from us this long." "Maybe she is at one of her friends' Dad. Call her." "I've tried. Her phone is going straight to voicemail." "Just chill dad, if I see her I'll get her to call you okay." "Thank, Gian your mother I'm going crazy and I'm getting grey hairs." I laughed. "You're already grey, dad." "Shut up." He chuckled. "If you see her, get her to call Torino and I are both worried." "Sure thing." "Later Gian." "Bye, dad." I placed my mobile down on the bedside cabinet, sliding off the bed. Guess I'm not getting any more sleep any time soon. I walked sleepily into the bathroom to freshen up before going into the kitchen to have a coffee. God, I needed one. I made coffee, arms slipped around me, wrapped themselves around my waist into a loving hug. A soft feathered kiss on. "Good morning, sexy." "Morning Jay." "I missed you last night." "I missed you too, but we have to keep a low profile while Se is here." "I know." He sighed. Kissing my shoulder. "I'll have one too." "Sure." I grabbed another cup and milk in and poured the water from the kettle in. I placed the kettle down. He kissed my cheek. "Thanks, babe." He said kissing my cheek. I smiled. Seina I yawned as I walked into the kitchen Gian and Jay looked pretty cosy. I wonder if… nagh, they were both straight and if dad ever found out he swung that way he'd kick Jay out for sure. "Hey G, Jay?" They looked up and smiled. "Se." "Dad called, Se." My face dropped. He'd been calling every goddamn five minutes since late last night and it was getting on my nerves. Guess he was worried or more like my mother was. "He called me too." I sighed. "Don't you think you should call him? He and mom are splitting hairs. You know how mom is Se, she made sure you got into college and Uni here and not somewhere she would be threatening over you" "I know." "Go, call dad, just don't tell him you're staying here." "Okay." I'll do you a coffee while you give him a call." "Thanks, but I think I'm going to need something stronger once we've done talking." Gian laughed as I left the room. I turned my phone back on to see over a hundred missed calls and messages. I rolled my eyes. Guess mom was really worried. I pressed my father's number waiting for his angry agitated voice to answer. "Seina where the hell are you? I've been trying to call you since just night, my and My mother are worried sick." I rolled my eyes, so dramatic. "Dad I'm old enough to take care of myself. I'm fine, I'm staying with friends for a while." "What the hell have you done Seina?" "Nothing dad." "Don't use that nothing bullshit on me Seina. You only go to your friends when you're in trouble and you're too scared to come to me." Damn, he knows me well. "So I'll ask you again and you better answer me truthfully and no lies Seina, okay?" "Yes dad " I sighed knowing I have to tell him eventually as Lucas already knew. "What did you do Seina?" "I did something stupid dad." "What did you do?" "I sent photos to Leilani showing her that Lucas was cheating on her.' "Okay." He said calmly. "I warned him, dad. I warned him I would tell her if he didn't stop bullying Gian, but he didn't listen. She has a right to know." "True " "You're agreeing?" He sighed. "Yes, I am princess for the first time in years. I'm agreeing what you did was the right thing to do. He needed to realise what he was doing was wrong though it wasn't our place to tell her. It was still the right thing to do." "He wasn't supposed to find out it was me." "Did anyone else know princess?" "One person, but they wouldn't." "Don't trust anyone princess your closest friends can turn out to be your closest enemies." "I know dad. I made a mistake." "So, is that the reason you didn't come home last night?" "He threatened me, dad." "I see. I'll need to see everything that he said. I guess he texts it right? He's too p***y to do it face to face." I laughed. "He did." I could tell my dad was rolling his eyes, he always did when someone did something unprofessionally. "Leave it with me, princess. Go to Gian's for now, and I'll sort somewhere safe for you." "What If he comes looking for me at G's?" "He won't, princess. No one knows where the apartment is, but those who I chose to let know. Not even Torino knows, princess, for safety reasons." "Thanks, dad." "Your welcome princess." He paused. "One question: what are you planning on doing to the person who leaked?" "Make sure he lives to regret crossing me." "That's my princess." "I have to go, dad." "Sure princess. I'll let Torino know you're safe okay." "Okay. Thanks, dad, bye " "Bye, princess." He said cutting the call. I sent over the message that Lucas had sent before going back into the kitchen. "How did the talk with dad go?" "Good. He's helping me out. He told me to stay here while he got it sorted." "He doesn't know you stayed last night, does he?" "No G, he doesn't. He thinks I'm at a friend's." He nodded. I picked up my cup. "I'm going out later" "Where?" "To sort out a big ass fly that's beginning to be a pain in my right ass cheek." He nodded. "Just be careful Se. We could always come with you." "I'll be fine. I need to do this on my own." "Sure, but call if anything." "I will." I was going to have it out with that f*****g two-faced asshole. He promised me Lucas would never find out when he helped me. And he stabbed me in the back. I get that he works for Lucas and it's where his loyalties lay, but his feelings were the same as mine on this. And he betrayed me in the worst way possible. Now he's going to regret that he ever did.
