“When Stephanie first called me and asked me to meet her at the park. I was a bit surprised to see her there with William. I didn’t want him to hurt Stephanie again, but as we talked about it, and he also agreed to keep me and Mary’s relationship a secret from his father, I decided to let him get a chance to prove he really had changed for the better, as he did for me too.
“Then, what about I buy lunch for all of us.. I could get Mary to come too?” William suggested, as Stephanie lighted up, as she looked at me.
“Oh, please say yes, Kris! I haven’t seen Mary in ages, I have only texted and talked to her on the phone.. can we?” She pleaded, as a smile reached my lips.
