I froze completely as I was watching Kris almost disfigure Lukas' face, as he punched him again and again, as his eyes became pitch black, until Nicki and Sam came running in, pulling Kris off of him.
I didn’t know what to do with myself, so I just sat there crying, but I tensed as I suddenly felt something was put over me.
“Hey, don’t be scared, you are safe now, come.” Kris cooed as he helped me up on my feet, but as my balance wasn’t the best, he surely picked me up in his arms. I don’t know why, but somehow I felt safe in his arms.
I was clinging to him, not wanting to let go, as all my feelings were crashing down on me, not knowing what would have happened if he hadn’t shown up. Then he walked down the stairs, and I could hear the music still playing as people were
