CHAPTER NINE

Archer POV

I was fuming in anger inside. Eating together with this kind of family makes me want to puke.

His father whose too thick face and no shame always talking about money even though we're eating.

Is this family really real?

I fake a cough and I narrow my eyes to him enough to make him silent.

"Son! Do you play golf? "

"No!"

I played golf but I don't want to play with him. I just want him to know that I don't like him. And how dare him call me son.

That women just only keep her head down. Like she's not exists in the room.

"Xavier how about we hang out together sometime. " Her step sister.

Oh I forgot..Her step sister sitting beside me keep throwing herself to me. What is wrong to this family??

"No thanks!" I said don't bother to look to her

She put her hand on my thigh and going in upward way. I look at her and I narrow my eyes to her.

But the women just batted her eyelashes and bit sinfully her lower lips like she's trying to seduce me.

I grab her hand and sway it away forcefully.

I look into the women opposite me. But no! She's still not paying attention to us. Her head still down and she's still eating like we don't exist.

She look beautiful in her simple dress. But I hate the fact what she do to my grandpa.

Is she acting all out innocent?

"Excuse me I will go to the rest room!" She said suddenly. Still her head down and walking towards the maid who she asked the direction of the restroom.

I excuse myself and I follow her.

Before she can close the door. I quickly put my hand on the door. She look shock and she step a back.

I close the door to have privacy then I step forward and she step backwards. The moment when she can't longer move I already prison her with my two arms each side of her.

"So mind explaining to me what happen back there?" I said while staring at her.

She look down and I cope her shin and make her look to me.

"Tell me!" I command her.

"We're just talking about something!" She said in a stuttering.

"What something is that?"

"No..ne of you.r concerned!" She told me.

"Everything involved my family is my business. I already warn you about it. Make a wrong move and I won't hesitate to destroy you!" I said and I grab her wrist when she try to escape to me.

"Stay still!"

"I didn't do anything wrong. I would never do anything wrong. Please ." She said while her eyes almost crying.

"Don't you dare pull that trick on me. Your tears are useless to me. And I will not fall from it "

"But you can asked your grandpa about it. I never done anything wrong. You just have wrong understanding of the situation!" She said

"Oh so you can talked back huh! Then tell me why did your father so want to make me marry you?"

"I don't know!"

"Liar b***h!"

"Remember you can't own anything when we get married. We already sign both the pre nuptial agreement. Did you tell your father about it?"

"No..! And please don't tell him right now. Please I am begging you. " She said while pleading.

"Why would I care!" Then I exited the room.

I went to the dining room. And sit again.

I took out a few papers and I throw it to her father.

"What's this?" He said

"Read" I said in one word.

I witness how his eyes turn into something like he wanted to explode.

"What's the meaning of this?" He said

"You b***h what did you do?" He walk to her daughter whose just arrived from the restroom.

She look pale and shock.

"What?" She said

"What's the meaning of this paper? How did it happen?" He asked her.

She grab the paper and she look at me . I can see hurt and pain in there.

"It's a agreement between me and him dad.!"

"Who give you the right to sign this? Didn't I tell you to obey me?" Then the next thing shock me. He slap her strongly.

My grandma immediately went to her side and comfort her

"Don't you dare manhandled her inside my house. How dare you raise your hand on your own daughter!" My grandma whose now angry looking to his father.

I remain stay foot in my position. My grandpa look at me angrily.

"Enough of that! Because of this we will have the wedding sooner. Next week to be exact. Just a simple wedding. " My grandpa said in a calm tone.

"Is it too soon grandpa?" I asked said

"That's it's your consequence of what you done. Since you already prepare your agreement. Mind as well do the marriage!" He said angrily.

"But we have many guests and friends invited" her step mother and sister said.

"You can still invite them in the second big wedding. Right now I want them to married sooner" my grandpa

His father apologize on his action. I can see how she shaking in fear. My grandma took her and calm her.

"I suggest Belle stay in here. I will make her rest in our guest room for now. " She look into my grandma and shake her head.

"No no I am ok" she said then take a quick glance of her father. Who is obviously trying to hide his anger.

"Just rest here and you can comeback to your house the next day. Your practically shaking. You need to rest!" I said and she look up to me.

I don't know why but seeing her in her state makes my heart ache. It's weird!

My grandma looking at me smiling and mouthed thank you to me.

Then she guide her to the guest room. I follow her sight till I can see her. I turn my attention to her family especially her dad.

"Sir I appreciate if you refrain yourself hurting my soon to be wife. I hope this will be the last." I warn him.

"Yes and I am sorry for that"

I know he's far from sorry. One-day I will uncover this puzzle.
