Natalia Rose Maxwell’s POV
Going for runs with my wolf Esme always helps clear my mind. Making our way back to the pack house, were my father works. Almost forgot, my name is Natalia Rose Maxwell. My parents are the betas of our pack, the Howling Wolf Pack. When I was sixteen, I had met my mate. He had rejected me for some other airhead. It took a lot of courage and love from my parents. They were a lot of help. My parents are each other’s second chance mates. There love holds no boundaries.
Watching them is what I want with my mate. They are the prime example of true mates. Sighing from the stress of the day, making my way up the stairs, heading towards my dad’s office. Seeing his door open, knowing that is how my dad is when others are in his office, unless it was family or my uncle who is the Alpha of the pack, here in Sicily, Italy. I know us as the Howling Wolf Pack. The second strongest pack. In the world. The strongest wolf pack is the Royal family. The Blue Moon Wolf Pack. There location is a secret. Only, a select few know the right location of the royal blue moon wolf pack. What I know, is the Alpha King has only two sons. Twins I believe.
“Hey, Nat. I wonder if our college application came in?” hearing Esme’s voice show a bit of her sassy attitude.
“let’s go see.” Ending the connection I had with Esme. Walking into my dad’s office noticing my little brother sitting behind dad’s desk, working on some paperwork. Shaking my head, smiling at my little brother, who looks identical to our father. Where I look like our mom.
“Hey, Ethan.” Walking up to the desk sitting in one of chairs dad has for other upcoming warriors or for a guest that come and visit our pack.
“Oh! Nat! Hey, what you doing here?” shaking my head smiling with amusement shinning within my hunter green eyes watching my little brother stop what he was doing.
“Good, your both here.” Turning around in my seat, watching my father walk into his office after closing his door behind him.
“Dad! I almost have everything finished for Alpha Jones coming from Dark falls Wolf Pack.” Ethan stated.
Giggling behind my hand, knowing how much my little brother takes this job. Knowing he will be the next beta. Looking up towards my father, who my mother loves to call her giant when she in annoyed or peeved. Seeing that my dad has an envelope addressed to me from the university in New York City, New York.
“Oh, please let this be an acceptance letter!” was my thought, before grabbing the letter from my dad’s hands. Opening it up, trying not to let my inner nerves take control of my body. Pulling out the letter reading it, my hands tremble from how nervous I was.
Ignoring both my brother and father. My breathing quickened, letting out a shaky breath. I read the letter from the place where I dreamed for college.
“We got this girl” smiling from hearing Esme's encouragement.

“Told you! I knew we would get accepted! Hell yeah!” ignoring Esme jumping all around in excitement. Looking up towards my dad, sitting on the couch with my beautiful mother.
Both of them smiling in encouragement, of me being accepted to the college of my dreams. This is, happening. One step closer to my dream goal.
“Sweetie, what did the letter say?” Seanna asked her oldest pup with a tenderness in her voice.
“They have accepted me into Hunter College in New York City, Mama.” Smiling from ear to ear. Feeling the excitement coursing throughout my body. Classes start in three weeks. Jumping up from my seat, about to leave the room to pack.
“Wait, does that mean I can have Nat’s room?” Ethan asked.
Raising one of my blood red elegant eyebrows at my little brother. Shaking my head, hearing both of my parents laugh at my brother’s comment. Giggling myself, leaving my family to go get my things pack for my trip to the United states of America. I just remembered that is where my father is from. Seeing my uncle up ahead, running up to him. Walking next to him, trying to put together what I needed to ask of him.
“Uncle Dom?” following him into his office. Sitting down on one of his chairs in front of his large cherry oak desk. Waiting for him to say something.
“Natalia, your dad already told me about you heading off to college. You know the rules. Keep in touch to let us know how you are doing. I have a letter, for you to give your dean letting them know of your situation.” Hearing the amusement in my uncle’s voice. Jumping from my seat, running to my uncle giving him an enormous hug. Smiling ear to ear once again, feeling how my muscle in my mouth were hurting from smiling all day.
“Thank you! Uncle Dom!” Rushing back out heading towards home near the edge to forest. Heading up to my room, packing what I had needed for my trip to college. Stopping what I was doing, sniffing the air. Knowing that my mother was leaning against my bedroom door.
Turning around, looking at my mother. Walking up to my mother, hugging my mom with everything I had. This was super hard with my mom and I. Being close with my mom; she has always supported me in everything I did. When I wanted to be a pack warrior like my daddy, my mom was there to help me get stronger and overcome my fears.
“Mama, I will call twice a week. I promise. Please, don’t cry. Esme and I need this.” Wiping the tears from my mother’s eyes, placing a kiss against her forehead. Being about 5’8 in height. My mother is super petite, but she is also a kick-ass fighter and warrior. The best pack doctor in the werewolf community. My mom is special in our world. My parents are the strongest pair in our pack, next to the Alpha and his mate. Sighing, letting my mom go. Grabbing my bags, making my way to my car, putting everything into the car’s trunk.
“Be careful, mi rosa. Please, call when you get there?” Seanna stated with worry laced in her voice.
Taking one last glance at my childhood home, my pack lands. In the next four years. My home will always be here waiting for me with my family.
“Yes, mama. I promise.” Hugging my mom one last time. Heading into my car, strapping my seatbelt on. Starting the engine, heading my way out of the pack lands of my home.
“Esme, let us continue to strengthen our bond. If we meet our second chance, mate. Let’s no fight against him” letting my own tears fall from my eyes. This is so much harder to do.
“Nat, Let’s do it!” laughing out loud at Esme's enthusiasm.
