Chapter 8: Boyfriends and LiesJosh parked outside Jen’s café and glanced at Oz. He was nervous and twitchy, the finger-tapping and drumming had increased the closer to town they’d come, and for a moment, Josh had considered turning around simply to spare him, but if he were to work next door to the café, he needed to get used to the people there sooner or later.
“Do you…erm…know if Jason is working?” Oz kept his eyes glued on the café door.
Jason? Right, Aiden and Jason were friends from before, he hadn’t thought about Oswald maybe knowing him too. “I don’t know.”
“I’m not sure…I want to see him.”
Living here and not seeing Jason could turn out to be tricky. “You want me to go check?”
“No-no, I’m being silly. It’s just Guy…Jason and Guy…Never mind.”
