Chapter Three. Becca looked around the chalet, which seemed bigger on the inside than the outside. The living area was open plan, a galley kitchen with pine cupboards to the left. A counter with high stools along the living room side, and cupboards on the kitchen side separated the two areas. A corner sofa sat around a coffee table, the frame made from pine, and the soft cushions in a pale-yellow colour. A large indoor fire was in one corner between the door and the kitchen area. A narrow hallway led to a large family bathroom, including a bath, shower, toilet, and sink. Beyond that was a large bedroom with an ensuite. At the back was another large bedroom, again fitted with an ensuite, and a window looking out the rear aspect. A smaller bedroom was on the opposite side and a laundry room between the living area and bedrooms on the left. The chalet did not scream luxury, but it was extremely homey and welcoming. “This is lovely,” Alisha grinned, loving the smaller chalet that would be their home for the next week. “I agree. It is so peaceful. But that might be because there are not a million people coming in and out, and even more pups visiting,” Becca laughed, as she thought about her home dynamic. “True. But, let’s be honest, we wouldn’t change it. We all love our pack and family,” Alisha smiled. “I do, but having a place that is so quiet where you can just think and enjoy nature feels a little like heaven for me right now,” Becca sighed. A knock at the door interrupted their conversation, as a woman walked in. Her blonde hair was in a high ponytail and her blue eyes were bright. Becca smiled in welcome at the girl who had a bum to rival Kim Kardashian. She was gorgeous, and Becca instantly envied her fantastic figure. “Your Majesty, Your Royal Highness,” the Omega bowed and bared her neck. “It is just Alisha and Rebecca. Are you Maja?” Alisha asked, walking towards her with a welcoming smile and shaking the omega’s hand. “Yes, I am Maja. I will be your personal omega for your visit,” She smiled back, feeling happy that the two royal women seemed to be down to earth, and as relaxed as they were in the Royal Helsignor Pack. Maja grabbed hold of the two hand luggage cases and began to walk to the bedrooms. “I will go unpack for you now,” she turned and smiled at Alisha. “Thank you so much,” Becca smiled, “Are you really going to let her unpack your cases?” Alisha asked. Becca looked at Alisha with a quizzical look, not sure what she was getting at. Alisha rolled her lips and then, under her breath, began to make a low buzzing sound. Becca looked at her friend like she had lost her last marble, then her eyes widened in horror as she realised just what Alisha meant. “s**t,” she cursed, then began to run after the omega. “Don’t worry, I will unpack my things,” Becca said, her voice going high pitched, as she ran behind Maja. “Oh, but it is my job,” Maja protested. “Seriously though, I will do mine. If you want to unpack Alisha’s then I am sure she will appreciate it,” Becca said, an almost pleading look on her face. Alisha began to laugh so hard tears ran down her cheeks. Becca took her hand luggage from Maja, with a big smile. “I insist that I do it. Seriously, we do not expect you to wait on us hand and foot,” Becca began to say, as Maja looked at the Queen of the UK, who looked like she was struggling to breathe from laughing so hard, then back at the Princess who resembled a small pup being caught doing something they shouldn’t. Shrugging her shoulders, Maja decided not to push the fact that the princess wanted to unpack her own things and walked back towards the kitchen, and pulled out the food she had prepared for their arrival. “That smell’s delicious Maja,” Alisha said, finally able to draw breath after laughing so hard. “Thank you, your maj….Alisha,” Maja smiled, happy that the royal guests seemed impressed with her cooking skills. Becca secured her luggage in the second bedroom that was at the rear of the chalet, leaving the larger one for Alisha, not because she was the queen, but because Becca was a good friend, plus she loved the view of the trees that were outside the back of the property. She walked back into the living area, a look of relief on her face, which caused Alisha to begin giggling again. “Hey, try this food, it is delicious,” Alisha shouted over to her, as Becca took a seat on the high stool beside the queen. “So, Maja, where are the best places to go for a night out?” Becca asked, wanting to make the most of this girl’s trip. “Oh, there are some bars in the main town, but for clubs and stuff, heading to Copenhagen is the best place. However, if you want to feel any effects from the drinks, we have our special blend of Tuborg that has higher alcohol content for werewolves available. I have a few in the fridge for you. Some of the pack members go out on a Friday night. You are welcome to join us,” Maja smiled. “That sounds great, we would love to come,” Becca nodded enthusiastically. “We have a bottle of werewolf-proof whiskey with us as well,” Alisha grinned. “Training is in an hour, in the centre of the pack. I am not sure who is leading it, but we have heard about your white wolf Alisha, and your light purple wolf. I cannot wait to see them,” Maja said. The tails of the UK royal family’s unique wolves and their amazing strength had reached their ears and many of the Helsingor pack were excited about seeing the infamous werewolves in all their glory. “We will be there. Maggie, my wolf, is desperate to have a sniff around and explore as well. Do you have an official pack run, or can anybody shift at any time?” Becca asked. “You can shift whenever you like. This place is very secure. Now that the world knows we exist, Prince Fredrick is less concerned about being discovered,” Maja nodded, then began to walk towards the main door. “If you do not need anything else, I will see you at training, then come in to turn down your beds,” Maja smiled. “Thank you, Maja, we appreciate you,” Alisha smiled and watched the omega walk out the door. “That was close!” Becca exclaimed, her eyes wide, setting Alisha off into another fit of laughter. “Laugh it up… seriously, I am regretting bringing my bunny,” Becca joined in the laughter. “Until tonight. I hope the walls are thick, that is something I don’t want to hear,” Alisha grinned. “Oi, you do know how loud you and Asher are at times. Your wolves are also out of control,” Becca snipped back. “Our room is soundproofed, so try again with that one, and what can I say, what Mia and Max get up to is not on me,” Alisha shrugged. “Mates!” Becca shook her head. “Yeah, but at least I don’t get embarrassed going through airport security, and can let people unpack my cases for me,” Alisha laughed. “So when we are finished with this, fancy going for an exploration around the pack grounds before training?” Becca asked. “Yeah, sounds good to me. I wonder why Prince Fredrick was not available to meet us. Not that it matters, neither of us enjoy pomp and ceremony anyway,” Alisha pondered out loud. “Not sure. I know he is a recluse, and looks a bit sickly from what I am told. I also know his mother is really worried about him. Mam mentioned it a couple of times. I am not sure why though. It is strange that a werewolf is ill though,” Becca shrugged. “Maybe he needs a nice healing kiss,” Alisha waggled her eyebrows at her friend. “Or not!” Becca shook her head. She knew that Alisha was only joking, but at the same time, she really was not interested in finding a man, and definitely not interested in a second-chance mate. “Who knows? Come on, let's get these plates washed up,” Alisha smiled, grabbing Becca’s finished plate and cutlery, and heading to the sink. “Maja may think we are making her unemployed,” Becca laughed, picking up the tea towel, and drying the dishes after Alisha washed them. “Bless her, she probably thinks you are very weird,” Alisha grinned. “Well, she isn’t wrong,” Becca laughed. Becca sighed with a rare sense of contentment as they walked around the Helsingør pack lands. “I cannot get over just how at peace I feel here. I expected you to feel that way, with Mia being part Danish and all that, but honestly, I feel almost like this is a home-from-home. Weird,” Becca sighed. Alisha smiled at her friend. It was good that she was finding some peace, she deserved a break from all the sadness that she lived with. “Sometimes a change is as good as a rest,” Alisha smiled. “Right, let's head over to the training ground, and see what these Danish wolves are made of,” Becca laughed. As they walked across to the training field, Becca stopped in her tracks, standing in the centre was the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. He had muscles upon muscles, his blonde hair short on the sides but longer on the top with waves. He looked slightly pale but held himself with a confidence that was sexy, in ways she did not expect. “Holy s**t,” Becca breathed. “Hi, I am sorry I was unable to meet with you myself. I am Crown Prince Fredrick, it is a pleasure to welcome you to our pack,” Fredrick walked over with a smile that almost had Becca melting in a puddle of mushiness.
