Asher woke up with a start, next to Alisha in her beloved Edensor pack.
“s**t,” he grumbled, then quickly picked up his mobile phone and dialled his mother.
“What’s up?” Alisha asked, wiping the sleep from her eyes, then looking at the clock to see it was already 8 am. The one thing she enjoyed was getting a lie in, and a rest when she was back in her home-pack.
“Becca,” Asher said to his mate. He knew the day he told her about the vision, that she would tell his sister. It was all part of his plan to prepare Becca for any eventuality.
