“Wait. You know something about the vampires?" I asked, staring at them in disbelief.
"Uh-" Kai mumbled, rubbing the back of his head nervously. They knew!
"Another thing you guys decided to keep away from me? Just great!" I deadpanned. I literally told them everything, even the most trivial of them all, and to think they were OK with keeping so much away from me hurt like hell.
"No, Skyla. I promise this isn't something else; we didn’t keep any more stuff apart from the secret we were bound not to tell,” Ryder tried to explain.
