‘Caroline!’ I mind-link our pack’s physician, Dr. Caroline Murray. ‘I’m coming down with an unconscious patient.’
‘Stats?’ Her sweet voice fills my mind.
‘Female, were, nearly 20. Numerous external injuries, silver burns and signs of infection.’
‘Fever?’
‘No, she’s growing cold.’
‘Room 208. I’ll link for nurses to assist.’
‘No. I’ll assist you, she isn’t meant to be here, but this is an emergency.’
‘208’ she repeats.
I arrive in no time, Dr. Murray is already there and holding the door of 208 open for me.
