Beta Colin’s POV
“Welcome home, Alpha. How was your trip?” I ask my best friend. He rolls his eyes and slightly nods his head towards the car, well, the person inside of it. He’s accompanied by his long-term girlfriend, a she-wolf I personally despise, Angela. I find her to be incredibly fake, and an ugly person, both inside and out. But since she’s been on and off with Stavros for the better part of five years, I try to not say anything disparaging about her anymore. I just find it’s not worth it to get on her bad side.
“Colin, aren’t you glad to see me, too?” Angela’s words are dripping with fake sweetness, as she gives her best pouty face.
