Alpha Stavros’s POV On the left side of the hospital room, I see Colin’s new office set up. This room is usually only furnished with a hospital bed and an upholstered chair.  Colin has brought in a plastic chair to prop up his feet, and he’s commandeered a cart to store papers and pens. I bet his laptop is in one of the drawers.  I add my laptop to the top of the pile.  There’s a clear plastic garbage bag tied to one corner of the cart,  it holds only paper cups and saran wrap.  The man is living off coffee and cold sandwiches. ‘Work later! Let’s look at the girl first,’ my wolf begs before I even have a chance to sit.  I try to regain control of myself.  There’s no point in getting attached to someone who might not even wake up. I regret sending the guard away. I forgot how much I hate
