The sun shined brightly in the sky and Austin adjusted his black sunglasses on his nose.
He dialled Hazel's phone number and waited for her to pick up the call. He rolled his eyes when he saw teenager boys going all wide eyes when they saw his expensive black car . He felt prideful at their gazes. He just sat there simply enjoying the show.
" Hello?" A voice rang in his bluetooth , he had almost forgotten that he had called his future so-called wife.
" Come out." He ordered as he watched those boys walk away from the car but their gaze were still locked on the car.
" Excuse me?" Her confused voice said and Austin rolled his eyes. Woman are known for being dramatic for a reason.
" Come out I am waiting for you in front of your apartment building." He said. A gasp was heard and he looked up at her apartment window, Hazel was looking back at him with mouth ajar.
" What are you doing here?" She asked , her voice ringing in his bluetooth device as she continued to glare at him. Her hair were mess, she was barefaced but she looked beautiful even without makeup, Austin admitted.
" Come here and we will talk whatever you want on our way. I don't know about you but for me Time is money." He said and sat straight in his car and ended the call. He felt irritated when woman ask too much questions.
Soon Hazel came running down, dressed in black crop top and black high waisted jeans. Her long hair were left open and they were swaying gently by the air.
Austin stepped out with a black mask on his face and walk around to open the door for her before walking to the other way and sitting in the driver's seat.
" Why are you here?" Hazel asked as soon as he was sitting in his seat.
" We are going for shopping." He said and leaned forward to situate Hazel into the seat belt. He was too close, their faces inches away from eachother.
And before Hazel could breath, he was again sitting in his seat , securing seatbelt around himself perfectly. Hazel glances at him as he lower his mask and turns to look at her with unreadable expression.
" Shopping? For what?" She asks with a slight raise of her eyebrow. Austin starts the engine before answering her.
His black hair weren't hidden by the stupid garand to be honest, he looks kinda hot. Hazel looks away, feeling guilty.
" We are having dinner tonight with my grandma and grandpa. I don't want you to show up with weird cheap clothes." He says normally and Hazel flushes. She knew that her clothes aren't the best and certainly aren't expensive designer stuff but still , they were good. She felt offended.
" Not everyone is rich ." She said instead. She is an orphan . And besides she just completed her graduation and was already getting married.
" True. But you are my fiancee and I definitely don't want to show up like a beggar in front of my grandma who is a fashionista." He says and Hazel saw a gentle curve of his lips as he talks about her. They must be very important to him.
Even though she is extremely offended, she decided to be quiet.
.....
" This are our new line sir. " The manager of the designer boutique said as Austin stood in front of him demanding for the latest clothing lines.
The new clothing line was of summer dress . But lately it was raining like crazy in may which was odd .
Hazel just stood beside him, eyes gone wide as she stare at all the dresses in front of her. She didn't even want to see their prices. The boutique they were in right now looked expensive just like it was. There were soft sofa placed at a regular interval . The lighting was yellowish and low, giving it a sophisticated look . She has never gone to any such expensive boutique. She was used to the cheap clothes.
" Pack them all and send it to my home." He said , is voice holding the authority. He had the aura which can easily make anyone feel intimidated by him.
All of them? Is he gone crazy? But again, he was rich and spending hefty amount of money on clothes didn't effect him much. He probably makes Lakhs per second.
Hazel could only follow Austin around the boutique as the said man continued to shop from the shop as if no tomorrow. Hazel usually enjoys shopping but right now, the staff were looking at her with disgust in their eyes. Of course they would! She was wearing cheap clothes afterall. And on the other side, her fiancee was wearing designer clothes. She felt small
From jewelry to shoes , from make up to the purses, he shopped everything . He didn't even asked Hazel about her opinion for the stuffs as he just continued ordering the staff around and they were practically behaving as if Austin was a chunk of sugar and they were ants.
Who said money can't buy happiness?
As they walked out of the boutique, the manager was carrying three bags for them. Austin had his grip on her waist, keeping her beside him.
" We are attending dinner at my grandparents house. I expect you to show up decently. " He said as soon as he sat in the driver's seat. He glanced at Hazel from top to bottom, examining her with his crucial gaze. " We should take you to the parlor." He added.
" We are just attending the dinner. It's not like we are getting married ." She reasoned. Usually girls can get nervous when meeting their in-laws but surprisingly , she isn't . She is calm and collected.
" You seems very confident about the dinner." Austin commented as he started the engine. " We are attending the dinner to announce that we are getting married next week.". He added and Hazel was left with a shocked expression on his face.
"What?"
