Chapter 20: From death’s door Penelope              I didn’t think it was possible to miss someone when they’ve only been gone for hours, but that’s how I feel. I miss Argent. It might be that he finally confessed his love, but I feel like somehow our bond has solidified. I miss waking up next to him this morning. I miss peering down at his slumbering form as I place a gentle kiss on his jaw. The way his lashes slowly flutter open, giving me a view of his magnificent eyes.
