The headline of the article on his phone jumped at Doug. He had worked through lunch to get things ready so that he could leave on time, so he didn’t feel guilty looking at the newsfeed on his phone for the next three minutes while he waited for five o’clock, even if it was on some e-zine that mainly wrote about the pitfalls of singledom.
