Mia. Rachel left me, a satisfactory grin split on her lip as she must have accomplished her aim at making me uncomfortable. At least she had told me. Goodness knows if she had just suddenly asked Leon on their wedding day, what I would do. But would Leon really give me to her? The question was rhetoric because even though Leon could not stop himself from touching me, he was still unpredictable. He could even hand me over to the guards to execute. My heart galloped as the visual image of Leon ordering the guards to execute me played in my head. I shook my head, my nerves wrecking as fearful shivers ran down my spine. I needed to make sure Leon does not do as she says. I was still thinking when two legs stopped me and I trailed my gaze up to see the person clearly. It was the guard.
