Battle in the Sea Part 1

Kirov Battlecruiser readied its P-700 Granit, an anti-ship missile, locking on their targets. The five auxiliary ships were engaging the RHIB. With the go signal of the President, they push the launch button and smoke appeared on the deck of the ship specifically the vertical launch cell opened to give way for the missile. Smoke rose from atop of the ship. Mayne and Bearing who were watching at the port side of the wooden ship notice a streak of light heading towards the sky.

"What the f**k is that!? Mayne said who seems confused.

The missile reaches its ceiling height and becomes arching towards the designated target, 5 P-700 anti-ship missiles dive towards five ships with the speed of Mach 1.6 carrying 1,653 pounds of the warhead. 

"It’s coming!" Mayne shouted while looking at the light arrow.

*BOOM!

Boom after boom as the missiles hit their targets. The five ships who were targeted vanished and its existence was erased by the explosion of the anti-ship missile. Along with the explosion created billowing water reaching 25 meters and a deafening roar that made the Mayne and Bearing baffled along with the witches who have no idea what was happening.

"M-MONSTER!" 

Mayne peed on his pants he felt powerless after witnessing the power of the enemy that they did not know. He just saw a floating wrecked part of the ship drifted by ocean waves.

"My God" Mayne said kneeling and fidgeting.

Also bearing the witnesses the power of the unknown enemy, as an explorer of the world he did not expect to cross with the terrifying enemy along the way. He cannot help but look towards his fallen crew on the ships who were targeted by missiles and the crew aboard his ship. Riddled with holes and blood was gushing out. His common sense reaches its limits and cannot comprehend of what was happening. Till the witches who have no idea were scared of the explosion and the noise created by the rifle.

"What is happening One~chan?" Lily said while covering her ears.

"I don't know"

...

"f**k you!" The soldier in the RHIB shouted and aimed his weapon to the bowman and fired his M4 Carbine. 

*Brrrt.

The bowman who received the hail of bullets was pushed by the force and his body leaned on the cage covered by a shabby curtain. Slowing falling to his demise the body that was connected to the curtain fall as well. The blood shocks the three witches spreading on the curtain. The curtain falls and they can now see the mystery of the event. The blinding lights met their eyes and temporarily blinded them but gradually returned their sight by rubbing their eyes. they can now see what the commotion is all about.

"Misha look! A floating island!" Sophia pointed her finger to the aircraft carrier; due to its size, it was the first thing that they notice.

Lily and Misha looked towards what they call an island but after a closer look, it looks like a ship.

The three slowly looked to their surroundings and saw a billow of flames originating from the shipwreck. It was a mess also they saw the crews drenched in blood.

"What's going on?" Sophia thought to herself.

"I-It’s no use it's a monster, your holiness!" The personal guard said shaking to his fear. 

The witches looked to the priest and saw his figure, shaking due to fear. 

Meanwhile on the Command Ops.

The General reported that the missiles hit their targets. The morale of the crew aboard the wooden ships sunk to the bottom. Thomas was relieving but he notices something in the ship where the magic caster is. They are watching the events in one of their MQ-1 Predator. He beckoned the operator to zoom on the ship and saw a cage and three girls inside it.

"Are those prisoners?" The General said.

"Probably but they have a little girl in it too. Who are they?" Thomas said while looking closely to the monitor.

His curiosity hits him, the situation of the girls along with them. It is obvious that they are prisoners but that is the only thing that he can think of. Especially there is a little girl in it and Thomas gave an uneasy feeling. He does not know the law in this world but after seeing a little girl incarcerated, he despised it. The camera zoomed into the cage the girls were frightened as the little girl clings to the other girl. He pities them so he decided to save those girls from them.

"Along with the magic caster save those girls"

"Yes sir!"

... 

The Arleigh Burke-class destroyer moves closer to the wooden ships. The distance between them is 40 meters and closing the witch saw a moving island coming towards them and cannot help but looked towards it in awe. 

Snipers aboard on the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer were positioned port side of the ships shooting the crews except for the magic caster and the one who seemed to raise his hands in the air giving up. 

They were only five people left on the wooden ships. Mayne Bearing and the three girls in the cage. The soldiers aboard the ships aiming their guns at the two people.

"Raise your hand! On your knees now!"

"Lay down your weapons!"

"Don't do something funny or we will shoot!"

To the peremptory tone of the soldiers in the language that foreign to them. They kneeled. it is their common sense that impels them to do it. When faced with overwhelming power you just must kneel that is it.

"Command this is Foxtrot-01 we captured the enemy over!"

"Foxtrot-01 this is Command we copy over!"

It was the special forces who are aboard the RHIB. They successfully aboard the wooden ships and arrested Mayne and Bearing. But they also saw a cage with three girls on it.

"Command this is Foxtrot-01 we have three unknowns here requesting guidance."

"Foxtrot-01 this is Command you are to retrieve those girls as well and get them to Command ship over"

"Copy that Foxtrot-01 out"

The squad leader Foxtrot-01 and his squad approach the cage slowly. They now have a clear visual on the package. Three girls who appear to be thin, their age seems 16-19 years old except for the little girl who appears below 15 years old. Their shabby grey garment was akin to the piece of rag, they were so thin that wind can knock them off. The two girl’s bulgy chest was first noticed by the squad leader, but he immediately averted his eye to avoid confusion. They were shivering terribly in the cold wind they were hugging each other to warm themselves but also to protect them from the mysterious man wearing black from head to toes holding a tube.

"They are scared," Foxtrot-01 said to his squad. 

"Do you have the chocolate that I gave you?" 

"Yes, sir!" One of his squad answers and picks something to his left cheek of his active combat uniform trousers.

"Give it to the little girl". The squad leader said beckoning the little girl to come.

"It’s okay little girl. We are the good guys" The squad member said while reaching his hand inside the cage holding a chocolate pouch.

"Do you know some Japanese?" The squad leader said but they knew he did not, so it does not matter anyway.

Sophia was holding his little sister stepping back to the corner end of the cage. They cannot just trust them, yet the soldiers notice their faces and concluded that they were wary and cautious towards them.

The squad leader contacted the Command to help them. Thomas gave him simple phrases. He picked his notes and write the syllables. 

The squad leader cough and approaches the cage. With his notes in his hand, he began reading it.

"Shin-pai-shi-nai-de-ku-da-sai... Watashi-tachi-ba? Tekidewa-Ari-ma-sen (Don't worry. We are not enemy)" The squad leader finished his words.

"Did I say that right?"

Convince that he did the girls who seemed distant approached the soldier who talked to them. But she was speaking so fast that he cannot get a glimpse of what she just said.

The little girl snatches the chocolate pouch. She does not know how to open it the squad member demonstrates it. He opened the chocolates and gave her the piece.

The little girl ate it without hesitation and her face suddenly pump up to the milky flavor of the chocolate.

"Delicious! One~chan want some?"

"O-Okay," Sophia said while the soldier gave her a piece as well.

"D-Delicious"

Earning their trust, the squad leader beckoned them to step back, while they were breaking the lock of the cage.

Observing the skeletal frame of the cage, they saw rust indicating that is the skeletal frame is weakening. They just kicked it hard and the door fell. The squad leader then beckoned them to step out to the cage. They were scared at first, but they step out anyway. 

Stepping out of the cage the three felt liberated, the little girl cried due to happiness.

"One~chan... We’re saved!" Lily said hugging his big sister Sophia.

"Misha didn't I tell you? One day someone will save us?" Sophia said while hugging her.

*Uwaaaa.

Misha cried out loud, the squads looked to them, but they never minded it. They just saw three girls smiling while crying. Their faces gave them a happy feeling.

"Those who imprisoned them were cruel I want to punch those if I ever found out who they are," The squad leader said clenching his fist.

"I believe we killed them hahahaha!"

They are aboard the RHIB. The tree was confused but they get in anyway. They noticed the speed of the small boat and were surprised and astonished. But the one thing that catches their eyes is the aircraft carrier. Sophia raises her head unable to fully grasp it to her sights.

"It’s big! Is that an island?" Sophia muttered.

Misha overheard it and answered her question.

"It’s their ship I suppose. I have never seen anything like it, not even the kingdom navy. It’s way too bigger than the kingdom's ship"

Arriving at the portside of the Nimitz class aircraft carrier they were elevated by the help of chains hooked to the opposite side of the RHIB.

Seeing the deck of the ships the girl’s eyes glistened.

"Woah! It's big!" Sophia said.

Aside from its big deck they also notice a big steel wyvern docked on the deck. they never saw it anyway, so they compared it to the monster they read in the book.

The squad then guided them to the medical department where they will be treated.

Meanwhile on the command ops.

The sounds of applause resounded in the room as they have successfully detained the magic caster and save the girls. But Thomas was in his seat wearing his grim face. Alice and the General noticed their president who was at loss in his thought.

"Mr. President, what's wrong?" Alice asked as she carefully tugged his sleeves.

"It’s nothing Alice," Thomas said but Alice notices him bite his sleeves indicating that he was lying.

"Mr. President...fufu... you are bad at lying". Alice said tugging his sleeves.

She urged him carefully so she cannot make him angry, the serious looked of the general gave off an intimidating aura and Thomas started spitting words.

"Eh. General? Did we just start a war?" Thomas said.

"Unfortunately, yes Mr. President if you think it that way. But we won anyway, and they don't have a sort of communication to contact their nation."

"Really? Thank goodness" Thomas heave a sigh of relief.

"So. Where are the captives?" Thomas changed his stances from the scared child to an intimidating one.

"They are on board to the Nimitz aircraft carrier; the three girls were getting treated on the med bay while the magic caster who seemed a priest and his companion were on the brig.

Inside of the USS Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier brig.

Mayne was being locked up and his hands were tied by the plastic cuff. He was furious about what just happened. His head was covered by a black bag, rendering him sightless. The only thing he knew is that he is inside the ship locked in the brig. Unable to contains his anger, he figured out something to get out.

He was wearing a ring on top of it was a gem embedded on it. He chants something in an unknown dialect the ring started to glow in bright red. In response to the staff who are being held in the evidence room gives off a blinding light, the officer who was in charge notices it and alerted the commander of the ship.

"Sorry for my action Pope! but I will use our last resorts to kill those who defied and humiliated me."

The ring glows intensely. 

In the holy city. Cathedral the pope who was in his bedroom was alerted by another priest. He was panting heavenly due to running. To the pope, it seems like it is an emergency.

"Pope! Holiness Mayne uses the Sacred Beast!"

"Whaaaaaaat?!" The Pope shouted.

...

In the brig.

"Come forth Sacred Beast! KILL ALL OF THEM!" Mayne shouted maniacally.

The radar operator who was watching the radar saw something odd. 

"Commander! Look," The radar operator said.

"What is it?" 

"Look!"

A large blip on the radar coming directly towards them were seen by the ship's radar.

"Looked also here! The sonar operator shouted.

A large blip on the sonar was seen.

"Where did they come from?!"

"I don't know sir they just instantly appeared"

"Commander look!" The officer who was using the binocular said.

He gave the binocular to the Commander and saw something big in the sky coming towards them.

"I-Is that a Dragon?!"

"Sir something's coming under us!"

The mysterious beast surfaced, and the ship crew saw a clear visual on the target. It is a large cephalopod organism. the beast brandished its tentacles.

"Is that a Kraken?!"

"A Dragon and a Kraken?!" 

"Contact Command!"
