Ashton's POV

All I could still hear was Charlie's screams. When Orin and I rushed into the room she was on the ground clamping on to her stomach screaming. Orin went to comfort her till I saw blood running down her legs. We grabbed her and took her to the clinic.

Orin and I were both sitting next to her when the doctor walked back in, " She will be fine Beta. She needs rest and fluids"

Orin let out a sigh of relief as I asked, " What about the pup?"

PLease Goddess let the pup be okay, I would destory Charlie and Killian if they lost the baby. The doctor read Charlie's vitals, " The pup is fine as well and is strong. You said the Luna was cluching her stomach?"

I nodded, " Yeah and screaming no. Do we know what happened to causing the bleeding?"

She shook her head, " No we don't. IF you would like I can send Romn to let the Alpha know where she is so he can be here for her."

I told her I would go find him. I had a pretty good didea where he would be and if he was there I would glad give him a piece of my mind.

Before I left I looked back at Charlie laying in the bed and begging the Goddes to let her really be okay because if anything happened to her or her child I would murder someone.

Killian's POV

I woke up feeling Charlie in my arms and smiled. Wai this wasn't Charlie it was Layla. Then I remembered what happened. Layla had told me that Ashton and Charlie had been seeing each other since the beginning and that she over heard them say how Ashton was the father of the pup and not me. After that we had f****d then fell asleep. 

Did I really believe that my mate slept with my Beta? I knew they were close, hell he knew how she got her nickname from Orin. I had found them time to time with their headsd close whispering or hugging each other. How could I have been so blind.

All of a sudden Ashton came barging into the room screaming. He kept looking between me and the now awake Layla. Ashton sdvanced toward me, " YOu f*****g prick! I knew I would find yo

u here. Your mate, your Luna is laying in one of the clinic's bed because of you."

Wait Charlie was at the clinic? Ashton was extremely angery, " Get f*****g dressed and meet me down stairs."

I grabbed my boxers and my jeans then followed after leaving Layla in the bed. It was good that Ashton came to me instead of having me find him. We could settle this now. If he was the father of my mate's child then they would be banished. I would not look weak because of them.

I found Ashton out side by the forrest edge. I sniffed the air and smelled my mate on him. I growled then shifted into my wolf. My wolf was jet back and huge. I took a step toward Ashton which made him just stare blankly at me.

He didn't move, " Killian I am not gonna fight you. I want you to shift back and tell me why you slept with Layla? Did you know when you did that you almost cause Charlie to miscarry?"

I stopped my advancement on him. Charlie almost lost our pup? No not our pup her and Ashton's pup. I launched at ashton. He stepped to the side and shift into his brown wold form. He turned to me and growled through the mindlink, 'Is this what you want? to fight me? You should be by her side right now!'

Me: ' Why? She is not carrying my pup. I know it is yours!'

Ashton: ' What the f**k? Dude are you serious? Charlie has been faithful to you and it is your pup. I am technically with TA."

Me: ' Bullshit. I have seen how you and Charlie act towards each other. Layla over heard you talk about how you were the father and not I.'

Ashton shifted back to his human form, " You are f*****g stupid if you believe that. I have always been your friend and had your back. As for the pup he is your son not mine. Charlie is like a sister to me and that is all. If you can so easily believe Layla over the truth then you belong with her."

I watched as Ashton walked away from me. I shifted back to human form.

Who was right? Was I really the father? Why wold Layla lie?
