It’s been two weeks since Ryan came back into our lives, and so far, everything has been going well. We’ve spoken with James’ sister, Nancy, to draw up the proper paperwork for visitations and submit them to the courts. We have all agreed that we will be using the schedule as planned in the meantime. Every Saturday, Ryan brings Kira over for a visit. Word has finally gotten out that Ryan has filed for divorce from his cheating wife, which proves fresh gossip around town for some good.
Lunchtime finds me at the local café waiting for Sarah to join me. “Hey, sis, I’m sorry I’m late.” She sighed, sitting down at the table. “My meeting went a bit over time.”
