Chapter 11 I slowly came to my feet and turned around. Liam stood ten feet away, barely moving, barely breathing. I wanted to run and throw my arms around him, to be close to my rock, but I just couldn’t do it. Something felt different. He waited a moment before saying anything. The way he was looking at me, his eyes scanning me up and down, was as if he was trying to figure out a complex math problem. “You’ve seen Christian, haven’t you?” I looked around the dining room.
