We've been traveling days and nights just to get to the tree of life.

Jinjin Hyung always tells us a story about this gigantic tree where the elves live but I've never been to that place.

I'm really worried about my friends right now that I even can't rest well. I still remember the times when I often called Jinjin an adorable Hyung because he loves to take good care of me and Binnie just like a mom. Now it's time for me to do something for him and Moonbin too.

Speaking of Moonbin Hyung, Alpha Eunwoo is still searching for a clue. A clue that could lead us to the culprit who abducted his mate. It's already three days since this incident happened but we can't still find him.

"Hey, you're spacing out. Care to share your thoughts?"

"P-prince Myungjun."

And this guy also became my problem ever since he returned from the Atlantean seas. I just noticed that he always approach me like a friend of his but of course... I feel some kind of awkward feeling on my tummy every time he's around. Those memories on the lake of the cerulean moon make me feel so shy to talk to him. It's just...uhm...uncomfortable.

"Oh, I'm just thinking about my friends your highness."

"Hey...no need to be formal. Just call me Myungjun or you can use my earthen name...Mj"

He smiled before sitting beside me. I can't help but smile too because I noticed that he's way shorter compared to me. Now, this became more and more awkward and I don't even know why?

"Uhm... May I know your name cutie?"

I frowned.

M-me? Cute? No... I'm handsome.

"Is something wrong?"

He coed when he noticed the change on my face. He's even beaming while asking me that. like seriously?

"Nothing...why are you here anyway?"

"It's just that I thought you need some company." He said while looking up the sky. "Seeing you in dept thoughts was the cutest thing I've seen so far."

My eyes widened when I heard his compliments. I was really shocked. I never heard such adoration coming from other people other than my parents and it hit me big time.

"So...may I know your name now?"

"Uhm...I'm Sanha, your highness," I said while lowering down to give him the respect he deserves.

"You're pretty stubborn aren't you? How many times do I have to tell you? Just Mj. Ok?"

Aw..yeah I forgot. Silly me...

Oh well, we spent our rest time talking with each other about his kingdom and how beautiful it is underwater. How he plays with the sharks and whales, the colors of the fishes swimming around rifts, the movements of the crustaceans from coral to coral and the way how mermaids take good care of their tails and voices.

I saw his tail once and I can say it's splendid.

"So, I already told you something about me but you never answered my question a while ago. Why does your face were so gloomy?"

"It's just that I'm so worried about my friends, " I heave a sigh. "We were just laughing at each other's jokes before while munching our food but now, that loud laughter was gone."

I blinked several times trying to stop my tears. No.. I can't cry... I need to be strong for my friends.

"Shhh... Sometimes being weak doesn't mean that you're not tough enough to face the world, Cutie, " he said before grabbing me for a tight hug. I don't know him personally-yeah-but it seems that I can lean on him somehow and feeling the warmth of his touch made my tears to fall. "It's okay to cry on my shoulders. They are made for that anyway."

We resumed our journey towards the elven empire after taking some rest. My mate's condition is getting worse day after day. It's like the curse is too powerful. His iris we're gone and his eyes were just black like a demon eye and his veins around it are getting purplish too.

"Guys! We need to hurry!"

I shouted loudly when I saw Jinwoo's body trembled in my touch.

"What happened?" 

"I don't know but he just started to act like this." 

"Damn..."

"How far are we from the border?" It's my friend Myungjun asking the wizard with directions. He's the one holding the map.

"We're almost there, " the young boy said. "But hyung's, we need to be careful from now on. According to the books, elves are not that welcom-----" 

Shit! Somebody shoot us with arrows!

"Show yourselves!!!!" My shout echoed in the forest. The unknown enemy is just around aiming for another shot.

Damn!!!

"Ahhh!!!!"

"Cutie!!!!! God are you alright?"

Shit! s**t!... The mystic has been hit.

"Wizard!!! Can you make a force field?"

This is dangerous!!! If we can't see the enemy, we might be dead before we could reach the tree of life.

"Hyung... I can't feel my mana. It seems that the arrow that hit me has ma magic neutralizing effect. I can't use any spells"

Dammit.

"Okay, I'll cover you guys and Myungjun, once I give you the signal, can you sing to t****l the enemy?"

Once he nodded, I position myself in front of them and covered myself with my scales to protect me from getting any damage. I then used my dragon eye to see the things that are hiding from normal eyesight.

One..two..three...hmm..it seems that we are being welcomed by death. I can see three elves lurking separately on trees ahead of us. The other one on the left side is aiming his arrow to me but before it could hit my team, I spread my wings and used it as a shield to protect them.

"Myungjun...now!!!!!"

Right after my cue, my mermaid friend started to sing his most enchanting song.

His song doesn't affect me since dragons are immune to magic so I don't need to cover my ears.

I saw the female elves slowly walking towards us now. They are fully enchanted that they were walking like living dead. Love was evident in their eyes.

Once they were on my reach, I grab the vines near me and enchanted it with my dragon fire and used it to tangle them altogether.

I was so endorsed with what I'm doing so I didn't notice that Myungjun already stop his singing. How did I know? Well, I heard some moans instead of a song and when I turn around, I saw my friend being devoured by the wizard.
