Sara’s POV I did not know when I slept off but I woke up later, feeling groggy and more irritated than ever. The events of the past few days had left me emotionally drained. My mind kept circling back to Steph’s suspicious behavior and the phone call from Nora. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. As I got up from the bed, I decided to go downstairs, hoping to clear my head. I walked into the kitchen and stopped short when I saw Steph standing by the counter, her back to me.
