Chapter 13

ike dropped ann after a few minutes in the front of her hostel.he was extremely glad she had decided to come with him.

"Thanks alot for coming" Mike said after ann got down from the car. She faced him to get a better look.

"You're welcome, I am happy I decided to come throught you." Ann replied.

"I hope there is a next time though" Mike said and ann just smiled then she left to enter the hostel to her room.

"Hey dear" Sophie said smiling as Ann entered into the room. She was surprised Sophie was in because she had previously told her about going to spend some days in a friends place.

"Hello, I thought you were to spend some days together with your friends" Ann asked as she walked towards her closet to pick up something to wear after she had a shower.

" yes, I was. I just changed my mind decided to come back"Sophie answered.

"So, did you go out with Mike because I just saw him drop you off" Sophie said giving a wide smile and a tease.

"Yeah, we did, it was just a friendly hangout"Ann said

"Friendly, you say" Sophie said teasingly. One could easily tell that Sophie was in a pretty good mood today.

"Yeah, why do you think otherwise" Ann asked curiously because nothing else had crossed her mind.

"Mike likes you, he really does and I know if" Sophie said and Ann just laughed.

"We are really just friends and by the way, how can he even like me . He doesn't do relationships and doesn't even believe in stuffs like that" Ann questioned.

"I know he likes you because of the way he is around you. One can easily know. He hasn't been like this with anyone since Rina. He feels he can tell you anything and all" Sophie explained and even though Ann could agree a bit that all what Sophie said wasn't a lie, she didn't want to put the thought in her mind.

"I don't know really, but he knows I have a boyfriend right" Ann asked rhetorically.

"He does, it's just what I have observed" Sophie added

Fee minutes after they where done talking and Ann was about to start reading and doing her other assignments, Mike called.

"Hey" he said

"How are you" he asked and Ann couldn't help but wonder why he was asking such since he had just seen her.

"I am good" she answered

"Just called to hear you tallk" Mike said after some time before the call ended.

"Okay" Ann said as the call ended.

Ann went by the rest of the day normally. The cramps had reduced and weren't as much as the morning and she couldn't be more grateful.

Ann decided to begin work the next day, she was feeling very much better and didn't know why she should stay home so she decided to go to work.

Ann worked into her work place and the first person she met was Mike.

"Hey, I have been trying to get through to you. You have your first client today" Mike said and Ann couldn't at first grab the information.

"I don't get" Ann said

"You will be designing your first bridal dress today" Mike explained.

"What!! Are you serious!!" Ann exclaimed.

"Yes I am, so let's get on to it. She is waiting" Mike said as he walked in front and Ann followed behind. She had actually waited for this day since the first day she got to start working here. She had watched Mike design some really nice bridal cloth and hoped she was at least half as good as he was.

"So, Brianna, this will be your designer" Mike said as he introduced Ann to the client. Ann sat in front of her.

"Nice to meet you dear" Ann said.

"Can you please tell me what kind of wedding it's going yo be and the kind of dress you want." Ann asked as she brought her sketch pad out in front of her.

"My wedding is going to be at the beach side, a small wedding with few friends and family. It's going to be quite simple yet elegant and classy. I want my dress to be the light of the day. I want something that stops everyone to stare at the wedding. I just ant something jaw dropping, nice, with a lot of Pearl's and stones. I want it in a ball like dress" Brinna explained with so much enthusiasm and at that point, Ann knew she wanted to make the best wedding dress for her. Brianna was so passionate about what she wanted and Ann saw a lot of her self in brianna. Ann scribbled some drawings on her sketch pad and she visualized how Brianna wanted her dress to be. She looked at it from her perspective as much as from brianna. She wanted something that would wow Brianna. And as Ann drew, Mike stood next to her watching intensely.

"Here you go" Ann said showing Brianna her first ever bridal ddesign. She was sceptical at first, didn't know what to expect from Brianna as she watched her face intensely waiting and watching for a response.

"How did you know exactly what I wanted, this is amazing, even more detailed than I explained" Brianna said smiling widely. You could easily see the joy written all over her face.

"I am really glad you liked it" Ann said as she looked over her shoulder to see Mike who had placed his hands on her shoulder as a sign of support earlier.

"You can come friday for your fittings" Ann said to brianna.

"Thank you so much you two" Brianna said before walking away out of the door.

"This is an amazing sketch. Seems someone is here to take away my job from me" Mike said and they both laughed.

"I wouldn't dare, you will always remain the professional here" Ann said with a smile.

she was also very impressed about the magic she had just created with her pencil.
