Selene looked down, "Wolf pox! Of all things, that young man has to come down with wolf pox! Stupid teenage hormones," she uttered. She had a feeling that the Fates had something to do with it, but she would leave it be for now. He was her mate and that was okay. She would go have a talk with them later, though about this whole fertility thing. "In the meantime," she smiled, "I'll give him something to dream about." She flicked her wrist and sent him some very pleasant dreams.

Thadius was wondering if his present was received and how well she liked it. He was taking a deep drag on his third cigarette of the morning. He'd only been up for an hour but he tended to chain smoke when he was deep in thought over anything. And today it happened to be his niece. His mate came out of the bedroom and scrunched her nose at the smell of the cigarette smoke, she hated it. It made her stomach churn.
"I thought you said you were going to try to quit?" she asked softly.
"And you said, you'd drop it," he argued back. He was growing tired of her and the fake mate bond he had that witch form for him. He just needed a pack, and he thought that this one would be the best bet. They are known for their medical prowess, not so much their fighting skills. So he thought their Alpha would be an easy target.
She winced at his harsh words, "I just care about you baby," she whispered as she climbed on his lap, putting her ample breasts in his face.
He smirked, it did have its advantages, he put his cigarette down in the ashtray and kissed her neck. She moaned softly at his actions. "You always make me feel so good," he said. He knew just what to say to her to make her happy again. He peppered kisses along her breasts and neck he could smell her getting wetter for him. He grabbed her rear and squeezed, "Go to the bedroom and get ready, I'll be in," he promised.
She hopped off his lap and walked seductively to the bedroom, he watched her leave. Her round bottom encased in the sleep shorts that looked like they belonged to a teenager instead of an adult. Just the way he liked it.
He pulled his pill bottle out of his pocket, he would need to find that witch again, he was almost out. He popped one of the tiny pills in his mouth and made his way to the bedroom. "It's a shame she isn't my real mate," he uttered. "She does whatever I want."

Isabella burst into her father's study her body tense. "Poppa, I'm taking the warrior training test."
Alexei looked up from his paperwork, "Good morning to you too, Bella," he said placing the sheet of paper down. "Can I ask why this sudden interest in becoming a warrior?"
Bella crossed her arms, ready to argue with her father, "It's not sudden poppa," she started.
Alexei studied his daughter, he had known for some time that there was something bothering her, she never speaks about it. He was hoping that she would eventually come to them, but she never did.
"I'm one of the strongest pack members we have," she crossed her arms and opened one wide, sending it in the direction of the fields. "And not just among the she-wolves out there. I can keep up with Bardik, and Shaw. I have bested Lou in sparring more often than not." She was throwing out her argument so fast that Alexei almost couldn't keep up. Once she paused, long enough to take a deep breath, he put a hand up.
Isabella swallowed her nervousness over her father's actions. He had remained silent during her whole tirade, allowing her to speak. He only nodded his head, or upon some revelations, scowled slightly. He looked at her, there was nothing but love and pride filling his eyes.
"Moya dorogaya doch, ty yarostnyy boyets," Alexei started. At Isabella's look, reminding him to practice in English, "I have been watching you since the day you asked to start training. Hoping and praying to the moon goddess that you would come to us with the reason for this. I watched you go from a timid and shy little girl to a force to be reckoned with. There is a warrior training test next week, be ready."
Isabella couldn't help but squeal happily at her father's concession, "Thank you, poppa!" She rushed over to her father and hugged him tightly, kissing the top of his head.
"None of that, you'll make me go bald," he scolded her playfully. Then he shook his head, "Now how do we tell your mother?"
"Tell me what, my dear mate?" Tatyana asked as she walked into the office. "Bella dear, I've been looking for you all over."
"Sorry, momma," Bella apologized softly. She loved her mother and her father dearly. She was tickled when her father agreed to let her take the warrior test. It wasn't an easy thing, and some of their strongest wolves didn't pass it.
Alexei looked at his daughter, "Well," he prodded.
Isabella took a deep breath and spit it out so quickly, "I'm taking the warrior test next week."
Tatyana gave a small shake of her head, and told her daughter, "Slower dear."
Isabella repeated herself, this time slower, and watched her mother's expression intently. Isabella didn't realize she was holding her breath until her mother answered her.
"I was wondering how long it was going to take you," Tatyana eyed her daughter up and down. Of course, she was nervous about this, but she wasn't going to let her daughter know that. She turned to mate, and folded her arms across her chest, "Are you okay with this?" One of her eyebrows was c****d and she studied the man in front of her.
"If this is what she wants, then I will be," he answered his mate. He was choosing his words carefully. He knew that the wrong thing would send her in the opposite direction.
Tatyana was satisfied with this answer, "Okay, then," she said turning back to her daughter, "Just because you're going to be a warrior, doesn't mean I don't expect you to still act like a lady," she said. "You can be both."
Isabella smiled broadly, and hugged her mother tightly, "Thank you, momma!"
After Isabella walked out of the room, Tatyana turned to her mate, "I just hope that whatever made her decide this is finally going away."
Alexei stared at the closed door, "I don't think so, my love. But I hope it helps her feel better."

The week passed by quickly and Isabella and three males were standing at the start of the warrior test. The males were staring at her, shocked that she would even think to attempt this.
One of them leaned in nudging the candidate nearest to him, and whispered, "I can't believe they are letting her take the test."
The other one turned, "Must be nice being the Alpha's daughter, you can just say you want to take the warrior test, and poof you're in."
The third one, who was listening silently, remained that way, he wasn't about to share his own thoughts. He had seen that girl fight! She may be younger than them, and a female, but she can surely kick all three of their asses in a heartbeat. He had no doubt about it.
Bardik approached the group, scowling at the two talking about his sister, "Good morning candidates!" He greeted them gruffly, he was using his Alpha tone with them, as he will be in charge of this. "As you are well aware, you are testing for a position in our warrior sector." As he walked past the four candidates, he eyed them each up and down, making them all nervous. Except for Isabella, she wasn't afraid of her brother, nor was she afraid of this test.
"The first part of this test will be running," Bardik said. "Ten miles, no wolves." The mouthy males groaned, they may be muscular, but in human form, ten miles is a long way.
Bella smiled inwardly at the men's groans.
"What are you waiting for?!" Bardik snapped at them, "MOVE!"
The four began their run, with the mouthiest bolting to the head of the group and soon leaving Bella behind, she didn't care. She knew what she was doing. She made it back to the fields, sweating and last to come back. That didn't matter, it wasn't a timed run she knew what was next and she had plenty of energy. While the males were still huffing and puffing. They looked exhausted.
Bardik eyed his sister suspiciously but kept quiet. "Alright, now that everyone is back, sparring!" The males' eyes lit up with excitement, "No wolves!"
This elicited a groan of protest from the loudmouths. Bardik silenced them with a piercing look, "There will be times when you won't have your wolves. This is to prove that you are a fierce warrior both as a wolf and human. If you don't agree with this you are more than welcome to leave this test now," he sent them a warning stare.
The men quickly shut up and waited for their next instructions.
"Isabella, you and Killian will spar," Bardik instructed. He turned to the quieter of the three males, "Daniel, you and Gabriel will spar."
They paired quickly, not daring to argue with the next in line Alpha. He was watching them with interest, he had a feeling that he knew the outcomes of these pairings. He did it on purpose. He wanted those two separated. One of the warriors making sure that they didn't cheat on the run heard them planning.
Killian smirked, he had this in the bag! He was disappointed at first because the Alpha paired him with her, but then he realized he had the easiest partner! He and Gabriel were going to spar before the Alpha decided on pairs, taking it easy on each other to make sure they succeeded in moving forward.
Isabella stood, taking her sparring stance, she wasn't worried. She had seen his fighting style before. When Bardik gave the signal Killian approached her with an evil glint in his eye, "Are you ready, princess?" he sneered at her.
Isabella looked at him, "Sure thing, sweet cheeks," she mocked back.
Killian stared at her for a second before rushing her, attempting to grab her arm. She easily dodged him, using his own weight against him, and hip throwing him to the ground. He landed with an "Oof," as the wind knocked out of him.
Isabella didn't hold back, as she drew her fist back and struck him in the jaw. She straddled him, landing the punches easily.
"Not so tough are you," she asked, landing one last blow to his face, leaving him bruised and bloodied. "By the way, I heard you earlier," she said grabbing face in her hand, "I fought my way here, you asshole," she threw his face to the side with disgust. She stood up and turned to Gabriel, walking his way slowly, "As for you," she jabbed him in his chest with her finger, "You suck his d**k so much, you don't know how to speak for yourself."
"All right, that's enough," Bardik interjected, the last thing he needed was his sister beating the hell out of everyone, " We will finish the testing tomorrow! Killian, go to the pack clinic and make sure that nothing is broken." Bardik instructed it took everything he had to not grin as he told him to go. He turned to his sister, "Next time, spar, don't beat. Come on, let's go get something to eat. It's almost dinner time."
