"W-Why?" Xu NanNan asked bitterly at the woman in front of her whom she treated as her sister.

They had been sisters for 8 long years, but how did she have the conscience to do this to her?
She had always treated her so kindly, she gave her everything she wanted, what she had she also would have!
Even when the apocalypse struck Xu NanNan protected her precious sister from all harm!
Even when there is no food to eat, she would rather starve herself than see her starve!
Even when people bully her, she would be the first to stand up and fight for her.
Even when.... when her sister and her beloved brother were both in danger, she chose to save her rather than her brother, who died so he could save her life!
Years of protection and care, but why?

Xu NanNan looked at the woman in front of her full of hate and sadness. If only eyes could kill, she would have been long dead!
The woman in front of her, seeing Xu NanNan glaring at her only bat her eyes not the least bit afraid.

She harshly flung Xu NanNan's face to the side, throwing her lying on the ground. Her eyes shone viciously as she spat every word that came out of her mouth full of hate.
"Xu NanNan, why are you so stupid?! Don't you still get it?"
Xu NanNan looked at Xu Xianer, unable to comprehend her meaning.
She really did not know what she had done wrong.
Why does she hate her so much?
"Ever since you came to our house ten years ago, you and your brother, you took everything from me! You and your brother messed up our happy lives! Why did you even have to appear? Why?"
Xu Xianer appeared to have gone insane. She grab Xu NanNan's hair and slap her face again and again until she drew blood.
Xu NanNan spat out blood unable to retaliate. Her body was as stiff as a stick after Xu Xianer stab her with a knife made out of a level 9 Zombie's Metal Bone.
A Metal Bone is a bone that became as hard as a metal after a Metal powered Zombie had mutated several times.
This Metal Bone was like a hardened armor found in the arms of the Zombie making it hard to defend and fight Metal Powered Zombies when they reach Level 9.
A Level 9 Zombie capture level is very high. If an ordinary Level 9 Zombie's capture level is 50 then a Level 9 metal-powered Zombie would be 100.
The Metal Bone, taken from a Level 9 Metal powered Zombie has many uses, such as armor, weapons, and such.
The Metal Bone might be a big help with making weapons, but it is also an assassination weapon used by some evolved humans.
Humans evolved because of the virus in them, but when an evolved human gets injured by the Metal Bone, it will awaken the hibernating virus and attack the immune body's cells, killing it.
Evolved humans might be somehow immune to the virus, but powerful evolved humans' only weakness is the Metal Bone.
The Metal Bone, which came from a Level 9 metal-powered Zombie, has a very lethal and vicious virus that awakens and also attacks the body of an evolved human.
It was unknown why it had such an effect, but there is one thing that all evolved humans know: once stabbed by a Metal Bone, pray that you'll go to heaven than hell.
"You took Father's attention away from me! Even my mother, you took her from me!"
"N-No, I....."
"Even my beloved, you tried to seduce him!"
"Xu Xianer...."
"Why did you two have to appear? Why were you even born to ruin our happy family? Why don't you just die? Just die, will you?"
Grabbing the knife by the hilt, Xu Xianer thrust the knife deeper in Xu NanNan's heart.
"Please, just die."
Xu Xianer's heartful wish for her to die was the last words Xu NanNan heard before darkness consumed her.
"......an!"
"......Nan!"
"....nNan!!"
"XU NANNAN!!!!!!"
"Wha?!"
Xu NanNan awakened with a start and fell down from her bed. Her forehead hit the floor hard, knocking her wide awake.
"Where am I?"
She looked at her surroundings as if lost and did not know where she was.
She was in a daze and stared off into space.
"Am I in heaven?"
PAK!
"What heaven? Are you still dreaming? If you don't move now, we'll be late for school."
Xu NanNan stared at the man in front of her in a daze. She looked at him, she could not believe it!
"Brother? Y-Your alive?"
Whack!
"Do you think I'm dead? Are you curs--!"
Xu NanNan was numb, she did not feel the pain of her head being smacked by her brother hard, she immediately pounced on him and gave her brother a tight hug.
"Brother!"
Xu NanNan cried loudly, hugging her brother tight as if, if she were to let go he will just disappear and that this is all just a dream.
Xu Han looked as if he had seen a ghost. He went stiff when Xu NanNan suddenly hugged him like there is no tomorrow.
Seeing his sister cry, not knowing why, he could only awkwardly pat her back trying to comfort her.
"Shhhhh.... It's alright. Brother is here. No one can hurt you anymore."
She was supposed to be comforted by his words, but hearing him say those words reminded her of the day he died.
The words he said to comfort her were the exact same words he said before he jumped into a zombie horde to let them escape.
'Brother, I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry.'
Xu NanNan kept on apologizing over and over again as if, doing so could lessen the guilt she was feeling in her heart.
That, if she had chosen to help him at that moment instead of that two-face b***h, then his brother would not have been bitten by a high-level zombie and jumped into a horde of zombies to buy them some time to escape.
'I promise. This time, I would definitely protect you.'
