Now I had seen a lot of unusual things since I had arrived here.
I had been kidnapped, more than once. I had made friends with a centaur, or at I thought of him as a friend, who knew what Elsdor classed me as. I had met a half snake self proclaimed exiled queen, naga I reminded myself. Her people were called Naga and I had made them a promise of help, even though I wasn’t sure I could even keep it.
And I had made out with three sins already. Like I had no control over my reaction to them.
Still nothing could prepare me for the sight that met my eyes when Elsdor pushed open heavy wood doors with a bang, he turned his face slightly as Declan lead me passed him and winked.
I stifled a giggle.
But it was a giggle that died on my lips the moment I stepped into the great hall.
