Lyria did not have time to even shout. Her hands moved to protect her head without her knowing. She could feel the fire touched her arms and shoulders. She felt the flames spreading on her arm and hair. It instantly turned her dress fabric to ashes, leaving a burnt smell behind. Soon, she only had her own skin to protect her. When the flame crawled on her skin, her eyes became teary. It hurt. It burns. She could feel the overwhelming heat of the air as it created so much pressure on her body. It felt like an eternity of firestorms. It was so blinding that she had to close her eyes. This is it, she thought. This is my end. Out of all ways to die, she never thought that fire would have been the one to deliver her to the death door. She even had thought Duke Frelie might have killed her.
