Lyria opened her eyes to flashes of light. She had to close and reopen her eyes repetitively to adjust to the light. It was the faeries. Their glow was a mild yellow hue during the break of dawn. They were humming a cheerful tone. And their eyes lit up when they saw Lyria woke up. “Good morning to you too,” Lyria said in a hoarse voice. The fairies helped her get out of bed. They led her to a small tunnel behind the huge mirror. She would not have noticed this tunnel if it were not for the fairies. The tunnel was short but halfway in, she could hear the sound of water splashing. When she reached the end of the tunnel, she saw a pond in the middle of a clearing.
