Are we going to do it again? What we both lost back then? Are we going to bring back, What we know we both lack? . There you are, knocking on my door, There you are, saying you want more, Asking me to accept you a second time. Telling me you wanted to be mine. . Should I believe you this time around? Will there be pains and aches abound? What you are willing to put on the line? Will your sun and my moon finally align? . It is tempting to just think, that we are so close to the brink, to the life that we want to live When we both promised not to leave. . Even though, admit, my heart won't, and we know that we don't Have a future together. And we're not meant for each other. . For my poor and foolish heart's sake, to avoid the inevitable heartbreak that we know awaits us both, I'll gladly jump out of this love boat. .
