I continued to glance over Tristan's shoulder towards my sleeping mate as he linked me with the latest news.
'The rogues seemed to have moved on from this area for the time being. It has gone quiet, almost too quiet.'
He informed me, following my gaze for a moment and smiling softly.
'How can you get anything done with her in here?'
He quipped, causing me to narrow my eyes at him.
'It will get easier to be away from her as time goes on, but right now I wouldn't be able to get anything done because I would be too worried.'
He nodded knowingly, Tristan and I have become pretty close over the past few years. I knew I could trust him with anything and he took his job very seriously.
