I felt weird...I knew Rowan was hiding something but he promised to keep me in the loop from now on. I just have to trust him, maybe he really did just get into an argument.
I went back into the kitchen and suddenly all eyes were on me. I looked around and quickly noted Rose looked like she had been crying. Oddly, her son was with us now and Priya was glancing towards me.
"Is..is everything alright?" I asked softly, studying the expressions that filled the room as a deep voice spoke behind me, startling me.
