I awoke to the sound of rain falling outside as I struggled to lift my heavy eyelids. The room was dark and foreign with a thick musty smell surrounding me. Lifting my hand, I shakily felt the bed next to me. Trying to become aware of my surroundings.
'Mila, we have to get out of here.'
Calypso spoke quietly, her presence weak as I tried to get the strength to sit up. Whatever magic was used seemed to wipe me out completely.
Looking towards the window I needed to plan my escape route. I didn't know how much time had passed or if the smartwatch even gave Tristan my location. I reached down, my hand unclasping the watch as I tried to turn it on..my heart dropped when I saw the screen was cracked. Anxiety began to fill me, the realization of what I had done finally crashing down.
