Showing Lindsay a good time in Montana had the unintended side effect of reminding Henry how much about his home he took for granted. Until he’d taken her to Crystal Park on Tuesday, he’d forgotten how much fun it was to play in the dirt and how addicting the hunt for those clear rocks was. Also, prior to their excursion to Bannack State Park on Wednesday, it had been years since he’d last visited Montana’s first territorial capital, and he couldn’t remember the last time he’d ridden a horse across his family’s ranch purely for the pleasure of it.
