Chapter Eight When Jas arrived at her office aboard the Thylacine, a mail from Pacheco was awaiting her. He was requesting a face-to-face meeting, but this time he would come to her. The time he proposed was soon. Jas sent her acceptance. The timing wasn’t great—she would have preferred longer to prepare her thoughts—but she was glad that the admiral had taken her concerns about the Shadow ship seriously.
