Chapter Five Jas had never quite gotten used to the rough military transport starjumps. Her stomach lurched as they reappeared in space some distance from the Thylacine. The destroyer was still orbiting the mythrin-harboring planet. Whenever she returned to the ship from a trip away, Jas felt like she was coming home. She thought of the Thylacine as her ship. She was the only commander the relatively new vessel had ever had, and she had a sense of ownership of it.
