Chapter 8

Jaydens pov

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I have seen Talia I am spending longer this time, because after this visit I won’t be able to see her for two years.

I have to take up the Alpha’s position when I get home so I can’t leave it for extended periods of time.

The witch has made adjustments to the potion so it will last Talia the two years without side effects so we don’t have to worry about that but I hate that I have to leave her for so long a year was bad enough.

Dean and James are coming with me as well for the whole trip they love to visit too, I can see the sadness in mum and dad’s eyes as I am leaving they miss her so much I can’t wait for us all to be together.

Talias pov

I hear the door going my mum shouts through that she will get it. I hear Jayden and the boys heading in chatting to mum. I’m in the kitchen wearing my short shorts and crop top as it’s so hot today and I’m bending down getting the brownies out of the oven that mum made when I hear them heading into the kitchen.

‘Fu.ck me who is the hottie, has Talia been making some friends’ I hear Dean say

‘I’d give her one’ says James

As I stand up and turn around Jayden notices its me and slaps both of them at the back of the head ‘if I hear you speak about Talia like that one more time I am going to beat the sh.it out of you now stop checking her out for fu.ck sake’

‘Fu.ck sorry Talia didn’t recognise you there’ says Dean

‘Yeah sorry Talia you’ve grown up a lot in the past year’ James says still looking at me, Jayden makes a noise that sounds like a growl I must be imagining things before coming over and giving me a hug a twirling me around like usual ‘I’ve missed you so much Tails’

‘Still with the stupid nickname, I’m not a little girl anymore, I’ve missed you too’

‘Oh we can see that’ Dean says as he looks away sheepishly because Jayden is glaring at him.

When Jayden puts me down the two idiots both grab me for a hug, they are holding me for a bit longer than usual when I feel something hard on either side of me.

When it dawns on me what it is I go bright red I can’t believe they are both hard looking at me and hugging me this is getting awkward now.

‘Right put her down, hey wait a minute have you perverts gotten hard for Talia I’m gonna fuc.king kill you’ Jayden shouts at them. Oh no he looks angry, he is really protective of me.

‘Sorry man it just happened my body reacted’ Dean says looking down

‘Yeah I didn’t mean anything by it’ James replies

‘Of course not thats why you two fuc.kers wouldn’t put her down is it’

‘No man it wasn’t like like we always hug Talia and we’ve not seen her in ages that’s all’ Dean tries to say convincingly

‘Yeah we just missed her because it’s been so long’ James adds

Jayden doesn’t look convinced, I am completely mortified at this point ‘we’ll just keep your fu.cking hands to yourself from now on’

‘Now now my daughter is gorgeous it can’t be helped if boys find her attractive. They can’t help it when she looks like this’ mum says walking in the kitchen.

At this point I’m hoping for anything to happen just to shut everyone up at this point.

‘Talia go and put some clothes on for goddess sake’ Jayden tells me

‘Why you’ve never had a problem with me wearing this type of outfit before’

‘You didn’t look like that before and I don’t want everyone ogling my little cousin’

‘No way, it’s far too hot and I’m comfy, besides we aren’t going anywhere today so there is no one to ogle me’

‘Oh leave her alone she looks great and besides my daughter can handle herself if anyone tries anything she doesn’t like isn’t that right sweetheart’

‘Yes mum if anyone is stupid enough they would soon regret it’

Jayden doesn’t look happy but he doesn’t have much of a choice in the matter on the other hand Dean and James look a bit too pleased that I’m not changing, this just feels strange them acting this way.

‘So have you got a boyfriend yet’ James asks me

‘She better fu.cking not’ Jayden snaps

‘No, not for lack of them trying, but unfortunately they are all as.sholes and they treated me like crap before I looked like this so I have no interest now I do look like this. Just have to widen my options so I can meet a guy’

‘You are too young you shouldn’t be wanting to meet anyone’

‘So you still haven’t had your first kiss’ Dean teases

‘Why are you offering’ I wink at him and tease back, he blushes he’s actually quite adorable, very good looking I could do worse.

‘What the fu.ck did I say’ Jayden shouts

‘Calm down we are just playing no need to go into overprotective big cousin mode’ I tease as Dean tries to look away from him, he looks ready to hit him oops.
