Bec’s P.O.V.
After playing in the grass of the park, we walked a little bit further, making it to a small playground. Nikki was still too small to climb on things by herself, but Archer had picked her up and had gone along with her. And my heart had melted, just looking at those two interacting with each other. Nikki loved all of the attention that Archer was giving her, and despite that, I felt a bit jealous, because honestly, I wanted all of his attention to come to me. This was the best thing I had seen in a very long time. And I felt myself relax even further, seeing that maybe, my future did look happy with Archer in it.
