The last time Jenny attended a Halloween party was back in college. It had been during her freshman year, while she was pledging a sorority, and for some reason, she’d thought she could still squeeze into her high school cheerleader uniform for the costume party hosted by a local frat house. But she hadn’t counted on the few pounds she’d put on since starting school, and by the time she reached the party, she felt like she was busting out of her clothes. Had her skirt always been so damn short? And she hadn’t remembered the midriff vest being quite so baring when she wore it to the football games back at Richmond High.
