The terror pumping through my veins is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Of course, I've never seen someone get their heart ripped out either so this is new to me all the way around.
"Mariah..." Levi says, as he starts towards me.
"No!" I yell out again, shaking my head, and slowly lifting myself to my feet. I'm starting to wonder if I've got a concussion from smacking my head as dizziness starts hitting me and the world tilts all over again.
I lift my hands up, placing them on my head, as I try to stop the spinning.
"Mariah, we have to get out of here." Levi insists, but he stops, simply staring at me.
"I'm not going anywhere with you." I protest "Why? So you can kill me, too? You want to make sure you don't leave any witnesses behind? Is that the plan now?
