***Sofia***  My girls sleep soundly as I labor over my writing, my hand trembling with every flick of my pen. Tears threaten to spill onto my cheeks but I quickly wipe them away, unwilling to get a single drop on my work. When I complete the letters to my girls, I place them in an envelope with the Sol de Oro emblem and seal each into the medallion boxes.  With the letters tucked away safely, I call everyone to the bedroom, ready to announce my plan.
