***Mateo POV***
"Chava!" Karina screams, rushing towards us and scooping up her son in her arms. "Oh thank Moon Goddess you're alright!"
She showers her son in kisses, Emiliano hugging his family from behind.
"Thank you," he whispers to us as he kisses Chava on the head. "Thank you for finding him."
Sofia and I nod, unsure how else to explain what just happened between the two of us and their son.
Emiliano smiles at Sofia and bows. "Happy birthday, Sofia," He says sheepishly, searching his pockets for something and blushing a deep shade of red when he can't find whatever it was he was looking for. "I had your birthday gift but it seems I left it at home…"
"It's alright, Emi," Sofia shrugs. "I-I didn't really expect to see you today…"
