Easter in the Lab
LM Analytics is a small medical testing lab owned by the parents of one of Laura’s pupils. Len, the owner, had mentioned he was looking for a “lab tech” for the three week Easter holiday and Laura had told him about me. It was a fantastic opportunity for three reasons. First, it paid more than twice what I’d earn in a supermarket. Second, it would look good on my resume. And third, it meant I could spend the Easter break with the girls.
The work itself, as you might expect, was totally menial.
