Chapter Three There was a sharp rap on Samuel’s study door. “Come in.” Remington stared up seeing his son enter. “Ah, Christian.” He raised his eyebrows questioningly. He’d long since given up asking the boy his plans because he knew that his aimless son had none, except wandering the wilds in search of whatever adventures he found appealing at that particular moment.
