THE VALUE OF A HANDICRAFT FESTIVALThe Folk Festival in Vancouver, coming after the election upheaval, did much to restore us to good humor and sanity, reminding us that there is no difference between Conservatives, Liberals, C.C.F. or Reconstructionists in matters of fine arts and music, and in the appreciation of other people's handicrafts. We are all neighbors once more—pushing back the walls of indifference and misunderstanding that have hidden us from each other.
I had three good days at the Festival and saw and heard enough to warm my heart for many a day.
