I sat at the dinner table, chatting with Lina, as she served me a the meal. But my mind kept wandering to Lorenzo. He hadn't come home since last night, and I couldn't help but feel a little worried. Just as I was starting to get concerned, I heard the front door open and close. My heart skipped a beat as I heard footsteps approaching. I saw Lorenzo walk in, looking tired and worn out. His hair was disheveled, his eyes had dark circles under them, and his face looked gaunt. His shirt was open at the top, revealing a hint of his chest, and his sleeves were folded up to his elbows. He was holding his coat in his hand, and his eyes scanned the room until they landed on me. For a moment, we just stared at each other. I could see the exhaustion etched on his face, but his eyes still burned with intensity. He looked like he had been through a lot, but he was still standing, still strong. I felt a surge of emotions, concern, relief, and i don't know something more, all mixed together. I wanted to get up and go to him, to comfort him, but my legs felt like lead. Lorenzo's gaze shifted to Lina, and he nodded subtly, signaling her to leave. He handed her his coat, and she took it silently, exiting the room. Then, Lorenzo's attention returned to me. He moved towards me with a deliberate slowness, his eyes never leaving mine. He sat down in the chair beside me, his movements fluid and graceful. Without a word, he pulled me into his lap, his arms wrapping around me. I felt a rush of excitement as I settled into the warmth of his body, my head nestled against his chest. His heart beat steadily beneath my ear, a soothing rhythm that calmed my nerves. Lorenzo's hold on me was possessive, yet gentle, as if he was savoring the moment. His warmth enveloped me, and I closed my eyes, letting out a soft sigh of contentment. Lorenzo's fingers gently lifted my chin, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat. He gazed at me for a long moment, his expression softening, his eyes burning with a deep passion. Then, without a word, he leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a slow, gentle caress. The kiss was a whisper of skin on skin, a tender exploration . Unlike the other night, this kiss was not fueled by raw desire and urgency. Instead, it was a slow burn, a passionate and intimate connection that spoke volumes without words. Lorenzo's lips moved against mine with a gentle reverence, as if savoring the taste and feel of me. I tried to pull back, my breathless whisper of "Enzo" a weak protest, but he wouldn't let me go. His arms tightened around me, his fingers tangling in my hair as he pulled me into another kiss. This one was deeper, more insistent, his lips parting mine with a gentle yet unyielding pressure. I felt myself melting into him, my resistance crumbling beneath the tender onslaught. My hands fluttered up to his chest, my fingers brushing against the warm skin exposed by his open shirt. I felt his heart racing beneath my touch, a rapid beat that echoed my own. Lorenzo's kiss was a gentle claiming, a soft possession that left me breathless and wanting more. Lorenzo pulled back, his chest heaving with a mix of passion and exertion. His eyes blazed with intensity as he gazed at me, his voice low and rough. "Dammit, Bella," he cursed, his words laced with emotion. "I missed you f*****g so much. Every minute without you was a bloody torture." His fingers tightened in my hair, his grip almost painful, but I didn't care. I was lost in the depths of his eyes, drowning in the sea of his emotions. "I couldn't focus, couldn't think straight," he continued, his voice dripping with frustration. "All I could think about was you, your smile, your laugh, your bloody beautiful blue eyes." I smiled softly, my heart still racing from the intensity of his words. "It's okay, Enzo," I said, my voice gentle. "I missed you too." I reached up, my fingers tracing the lines of his face, stroking his cheek. His eyes closed, his expression relaxing as he leaned into my touch. "You should eat something," I said, concern etched in my voice. I slid out of his lap, my movements gentle, and began to serve him the dinner Lina had prepared earlier. Lorenzo watched me, his eyes still burning with emotion, but a hint of a smile playing on his lips. I handed him a plate, and he took it, his fingers brushing against mine. "Eat," I encouraged, my voice soft. "You need your strength." Lorenzo nodded, his eyes never leaving mine, and began to eat, his movements slow and deliberate. As I stood at the sink, washing the last of the dishes, Lorenzo came up behind me, his arms wrapping around my waist in a gentle hug. I felt a surge of warmth and comfort at his touch. "You should get some sleep," I said, concern etched in my voice. "You look exhausted." Lorenzo's grip tightened, his chin resting on my shoulder. "I don't want to sleep alone," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "Will you sleep with me, Bella?" My heart skipped a beat as I processed his request. The mafia leader, who had taken control of every aspect of my life, was asking for my consent. I felt a flutter in my chest, a mix of emotions swirling inside me. I hesitated, unsure of how to respond. But Lorenzo's gentle gaze and soft smile put me at ease. I nodded shyly, my voice barely above a whisper. "But... Okay." Lorenzo's face lit up with a teasing grin. "Don't worry, Bella," he said, his voice dripping with amusement. "I promise I won't bite...unless you want me to." He chuckled, his eyes sparkling with mischief. I blushed, feeling a rush of heat to my cheeks. "Enzo, stop it," I said, trying to sound stern but failing miserably. He laughed, his arms tightening around me. "I promise, just sleeping. No other business. I just want to hold you close and feel you beside me." His words sent a warm glow through me, and I smiled, feeling a sense of belonging. "Okay," I repeated, my voice a little stronger this time. I lay in Lorenzo's bed, surrounded by the masculine scent of his cologne and the softness of his sheets. He had picked me up from the kitchen, cradling me in his arms like a child, and carried me to his room. The gesture had made butterflies flutter in my stomach. As I waited for him, I heard the sound of the shower turning off, followed by the rustling of clothes from the attached wardrobe. Lorenzo emerged, his hair damp. He was wearing only a grey sweatpant, the fabric clinging to his hips . My eyes roamed over him, taking in the defined lines of his torso, the muscles rippling beneath his skin. I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as he caught me staring, a teasing glint in his eye. "Enjoying the view, bella?" he asked, his voice low and husky. I looked away, trying to hide my embarrassment. I turned onto my side, facing away from him, but I could feel his gaze on me, burning with amusement. Suddenly, I felt a dip in the mattress as Lorenzo sat down beside me. His hand wrapped around my waist, pulling me back against him. I felt his warm breath on my neck, sending shivers down my spine. "You're not getting away that easily," he whispered, his lips brushing against my ear. His hand tightened around me, pulling me closer, his fingers splayed across my stomach. I felt a jolt of electricity run through me, my body responding to his touch. Lorenzo's hand roamed over my stomach, his fingers tracing patterns on my skin. He pulled me closer, his chest pressing against my back, his warmth seeping into me. "I would be out of town for for four days ," he whispered, his breath tickling my ear. "But don't think for a second that I won't be thinking about you... and all the things I want to do to you when I get back." Lorenzo's hands grasped my shoulders, turning me to face him. His eyes burned with intensity, his gaze piercing through me. "Look at me, Eva," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I'll be dreaming of your body, your taste, your scent. And when I get back, I'll make sure you know just how much I've missed you. Because when I get back, I'm going to devour you whole." He leaned in closer, his breath hot against my skin. "I'll kiss every inch of your body, taste every sweet spot. And when I'm done, you'll be begging for more." His hands drifted down my arms, his fingers tracing patterns on my skin. "You'll be wet and ready, won't you, Bella? You'll be aching for me, craving my touch." I felt a shiver run down my spine as Lorenzo's words painted a dirty picture in my mind. I knew I should be shocked, but instead, I was turned on. Lorenzo's eyes seemed to gleam with triumph, as if he knew he had me right where he wanted me. "Good," he whispered. "Because I'm going to make you mine, Bella. Completely and utterly mine."
