After attending the school we all headed to the mall to do some necessary shopping. First, we headed to the cosmetic shop to purchase some concealer and make-up. As I was about to pick up the cheapest make-up kit and concealer, Ella stopped me. ” I know you wanted to buy the cheapest make-up kit and concealer to save money, but it would be better to purchase a little bit more expensive, long-lasting, and waterproof make-up. It would be troublesome if you are makeup worn down in the middle of the day and people notice injuries and bruises on your face,” Ella said while grabbing her hand stopping her from grabbing the cheap self to the expensive one and then looking for the make up she wanted to purchase for Alison.
After she grabs what she wants she walks towards the counter and tells the girl sitting on the counter to wrap it up and for them. Before Alison gets the money out of her purse, Ethan takes his card out of his pocket and hands it to the salesgirl to pay the bill, I tried to stop him, but Ella stopped me.
“You refused to take help from us to pay your father’s debt, at least let us help you to pay your shopping bills,” Ella said while gabbing Alsion’s hand to stop her.
“No buts, we are going to pay your bills for today’s shopping and that’s all,” Ella said in a firm tone, once Ethan was done paying the bill, Ella dragged her to the sports area. There Ethan himself selected every boxing gear like boxing gloves, mouthguard, etc, and then went to the counter to pay the bill while Ella was holding Alison back so she didn’t disturb Ethan’s shopping for her.
After that, she Dragged Alison to the clothes section, but this time before Ella could do something, Alison stopped him.
“Ella, when you decided to pay for the make-up and concealer, I did not say anything to you. And even when you decided to buy boxing equipment and gear for me, I didn’t say anything to you. But not now, there are already a lot of clothes in my closets there is no need to buy any more clothes,” Alison, said grabbing her hands to stop her from going inside the clothes store.
“But,” Ella said but Alison interrupted her.
“No buts, if you forcefully buy clothes and another thing for me, then I will not talk with you guys anymore or come to you guys when I need your help, am I clear?” Alison asked in a stren voice. Ella pouted but nodded her head, and then they all walked towards the food court since they all were feeling hungry after all this shopping.
The walk inside the food court, Ella and Alison take a seat on one of the tables, while Ethan goes to order their food.
“Ella, I really appreciate what you and Ethan have done for me, but I can’t let you purchase clothes for me especially when you guys have purchased such expensive make-up and boxing equipment. If I do that I would feel like a lecher, who leeches off her friends,” Alison said trying to pacify her friends.
“Who says that tell me, who was that? Don’t pay attention to the like of them, Alison, what was the meaning of having friends when they weren’t there for you in your time of need?” Ella asks while raising an eyebrow.
“But that doesn’t mean that you can leach off them,” Alison countered.
“First of all you are not leaching off of us,” Ella said to her. “Second, we don’t think there is something wrong in leaching off of your friends if they can afford it,” Ethan said supporting what Ella said, as he walked towards them with the tray full of food.
“Correct, bro,” Ella said proudly while applauding his brother enthusiastically. Alison just shook her head at them knowing that there was no way she was going to win an argument with them, so she just focused on eating her food.
It was getting dark so they decided to call it a day and head home. Aison had already informed her parents that she was going to stay at her friend’s house so instead of heading home she went to her friend’s house. There she took a quick shower and got ready in her workout clothes and then they all headed to the street fighting club. They parked their car in the parking plot and walked towards the club where they shared the password which changes every day to the bouncers and entered the club to see there is one fighting going on in the arena. They stand near the arena and watch the fighting happening in the arena until the ex-referee comes and informs Alison that after two more fights, it will be her turn to go to the Arena.
The ex-referee informed Arena who will be there opponent will be, and their strength and weaknesses with some suggestions to deal with them as Alison got ready for the fight in Arena. After some time the packed arena buzzed with anticipation as the referee stepped into the center of the fighting ring, his voice booming through the speakers. “Now I will call out our last night’s champion, Roxcy!”
All eyes turned toward the locker room entrance as Alison, known by her fighting moniker Roxcy, emerged. Her face was calm and focused, her muscular frame striding with purpose as she was followed by the former referee, Robbin. Roxcy made her way to her corner of the ring, taking a seat and calmly stretching her limbs to prepare for the upcoming bout.
“And the one who was fighting against her was our female champion, Rebbeca!” the referee announced.
As soon as Rebbeca’s name left the referee’s lips, the crowd erupted in thunderous cheers and chants.
“Re-bec-ca!”
“Re-bec-ca!”
" Re-bec-ca!” they roared, the arena vibrating with the sheer volume of their adulation.
Heads swiveled to the opposite entrance, where a lithe, formidable figure appeared. Rebbeca, the reigning female champion, stepped into the ring with an aura of confidence, basking in the adoration of the crowd. Her dark eyes scanned the crowd, a small smirk playing on her lips as she took her place across from Roxcy.
As the cheers swelled for Rebbeca, Ella pouted not liking that no one was cheering her friend. She turned towards the crowd and began shouting, “Ro-ka-cy!”
“Ro-ka-cy!”
“Ro-ka-cy!”
“Ro-ka-cy!” seeing Ella cheering Roxcy like that, Ethan and a few people in the arena also started chanting her name with her, making a smile form on Roxcy’s face. Soon the crowd was evenly split, with half chanting Roxcy’s name and the other half cheering for Rebbeca. As the chants for Roxcy grew louder, Rebbeca’s expression darkened with discontent since she did not like sharing the attention of the crowd with someone else. She clenched her fist and gritted her teeth to keep herself so from punching Roxcy before the fight began. But soon a smirk formed on her face when she thought about how she going to crush her opponent and show her that no one could take her place as a champion.
