"Are you going somewhere?" Mother asked as she saw me walking down the stairs.
"Yes, Mother," I responded and headed for the door, but her next words stopped me. "Are you okay?" She asked and stood before me. "Leo, you don't seem okay. I'm your mother, and I can feel it," she said with concern but I didn't respond.
"Does it have to do with Nora? Has she chosen to be with Madison?" She asked, still no response from me.
