Constantly, I checked my wristwatch, monitoring as the time went by, yet no phone call from Nora, not even a text message.
"Calm down," Darin, my wolf, urged, causing a heavy sigh to leave my lips.
Just as I was about to check my wristwatch again, the beeping of my phone caught my attention.
Quickly, I reached for it and saw that it was a text message from Nora. After reading it, I stood up, picked up my jacket from the couch, and made my way out of the room.
I took the stairs to the sitting room and called out to Luiz. "Is the room ready?" I asked, and he nodded.
"Make sure everything is in order," I said, and walked away.
