NORA'S POV A jackhammer. There had to be a jackhammer pounding in my head this very second. That could be the only explanation for this horrendous aching in my head. When I opened my eyes, I had that three-to-four-second grace period before I remembered who I was and my name. Then my body announced its condition. I was having a blinding, pounding headache, followed by a wave of nausea and agonizing cold sweats. I groaned as I sat up. Just how much wine had I had to drink last night? I tried to sit up, but my arm hurt like tiny pins were pricked into it. As I sat up, a pit grew in my stomach as realization washed over me. I was not in my room. This room was so big and luxurious to be my room. I had no idea who it belonged to. Who did I follow home last night? I glanced around the room,
