I kept looking at Marco and Marcus as they proceeded to eat right next to each other. Marco kept putting food on Marcus’ plate and even feeding him every now and then. Marcus seems to be enjoying the attention. I wonder if he feels any sort of father-son instinct towards his dad.
When we had finished eating, Marcus pulled his dad towards his room where he showed him his other toys, including the 18” Spiderman. He then started talking about how Spiderman is this and Spiderman is that. I kept smiling as I saw them seemingly bonding. I was startled as I realized Marco was looking at me while smiling.
I cleared my throat before telling them “Marcus has to be in bed in an hour. He has school early tomorrow.”
